Clearly something is wrong between the two of you and you have good reason to suspect there might be someone else in the picture. It is possible he somehow got emotionally involved with no physical contact and that by itself has removed him from the marriage.
Whatever it is, you need to know the answer. I agree with Sophia that you should talk to him when there are no interruptions and if he has no explanation and refuses therapy you should get more active in searching out the "why" of this puzzle.
Possibly he was always a emotionally detached person and you just never realized it until now. However, then you will need to decide what kind of life you want for yourself and all four of your children because his emotional detachment will affect those kids as well as you.
