Obviously there is something terribly wrong in your marriage.
It is most abnormal for a man to avoid sexual activity for 5 months in a marriage.
You must confront this problem immediately. Take a good quiet time and ask directly him what is going on. If he will not answer you honestly, then marital therapy is your only solution. You cannot continue this relationship with such a distance between you. If he continues to refuse to confront this problem and continues to refuse therapy, a good way to find out if he is involved in another relationship is to hire a P.I.
They do a good job and you will then know for sure.
