Tara,
I am so sorry for your pain. My husband cheated on me too. I found out almost 5 months ago and we began counseling. He promised to end all contact with his coworker and "do whatever it takes" to make things right with me. But he was not completely honest with me about the true extent of the affair.
It was only 3 days ago that he finally confessed the truth to me. He has lied to me and continued to lie about contact with her from day 1. I am completely devasted all over again. I was just beginning to heal and felt like we could get through this. He swears to me that he has now been completely honest but that is no different than what he has been saying for months.
I wish I could offer you some comfort and advice on what to do but I am so broken myself and don't know what to do I think the only thing I can offer you is that you are not alone. Be true to yourself and your feelings. Trust your instincts.
Whatever you decide I hope you find peace.
