Like you folks ... I think we have become very good at leading separate lives under the same roof.
Yes, There is the security of the family ... but life is very lonely in the bedroom.
A good friend of mine chose to end his marriage after 25 years (his second), after discovering his wife in an affair.
He is now happily married to his third wife. I am very happy for them.
My question is ... would I be happier divorced now? My wife is very good with our sons and our grand children. Certainly a divorce would disrupt all of this.
Often I am haunted with how happy my wife was with her lover ... and how lonely our marriage is now, for both of us. There must be a better way.
Appreciate your thoughts.
