I know exactly how you feel. My H had an EA in the very early 1970's followed by a PA in the mid 1970's. Like you and your W, we got back together, he left his job, we moved away and started living life but he was never really in the marriage from then on. In 1995 he had another PA and then in 1999 I walked into our home and found him with another OW. As you can tell from the dates, we are in our retirement years and decided to patch things up and continue on together, but I also feel like we live two separate lives in the same house.
That being said, because of the effect divorce can have even on long grown up children, make sure it can't be fixed and then leave with a clear conscience.
