We are pursuing something against the therapist. I will leave it at that, since the internet tends to leak. (You understand.) Wife has had a terrible time finding a therapist for this problem. The first simply labeled her a sex addict and demanded 12 step. The second labeled her multiple personality. A third wants to medicate her for depression. A fourth therapist had sex addiction problems of her own (she admitted) and seemed more interested in talking to us about sordid details than providing therapy. Wife is on her fifth now, and he seems to be okay, but we have spent months on this, and she is only really starting to progress now. She is remorseful, and providing me all the access to her phone, computer, etc to keep me feeling safe. I am just not getting better. I cannot get the images out of my head, even with EFT, NLP, meditation, and now medication. They have diagnosed me with adult ADHD (makes sense now, the way my brain works, but never knew it before), so that complicates things. I am obsessed with contacting the men and confronting them, and fighting that compulsion daily. I agree that this sounds like a full blown PTSD, and thanks for your help so far. For now I am trying to remain peaceful and forgiving. And taking meds, which I hate to resort to. Will keep you posted.
