It's worth adding, as I just read a bit more on the Willing Spirits site. The hypnotherapist used EMDR to prepare his clients for divorce -- I know this because he used it on me personally; fortunately, I saw through the act and got out, while my wife did not. I now have an aversion to EMDR. The most effective treatment I have gotten so far for the flashbacks has been EFT, and it is because of EFT alone that I am still functioning at all. But my EFT therapy seems to be at a standstill.
I didn't mention this earlier because so few people even know what EMDR or EFT are -- I see that's not the case on this board, thankfully.
All techniques can be used for good, or bad. It is a crime that someone is working out there using these to create a harem for himself, and destroying lives in the process.
