The woman that my husband had the affair with continued to harrass us with phone calls, hangups, following him etc., until my husband went to the local police and took out a complaint against her. The police chief telephoned her and told her that she must stop all contact with us and if it continued, she was liable to arrest.
That stopped most of it. There was one more letter about 3 months after the complaint. My husband responded that seh was in violation and any further attempts to contact him would result in him pressing charges. There was no further contact.
