I'm sorry you have to go through this yet again.
I recently have come to the conclusion that there is a big percentage of cheaters who do not ever "get it" like they may even lead us to believe once their affair is revealed. All the "work" that they do to repair things is just a sham, a coping exercise on their part to smooth things over so their world is not overturned. This applies to both men and women that cheat, btw.
So when we see our spouses having another affair, or more details are revealed that shock us, instead of thinking they have backslid, we should realize that they have just messed up on their cover story. There has been no attempt at recovery, they like their infidelities. They just are not so good at keeping the secret -- secret.
It's a good thing you are getting a lawyer.
