I want you to know that when I came to the end of my rope and realized what a stupid idiot I was for having an affair I went to several counsellors to ask them if I should tell my wife.
Many said NO...and that I should love my wife and stop the junk, but that I should take the affair to my grave...that I shouldn't tell her what I had done.
Other counsellors told me that if I wanted to have a true and honest relationship with my wife, I MUST tell her everything and start from ground zero.
I chose to tell her everything. Our marriage is stronger than ever now.
I only tell you this because he may be sorry for what he has done and have been counselled to keep things to himself and not hurt his wife. Let's face it...you don't want to hurt his WIFE, you want to hurt HIM! Right??
I'd say just keep working on your own marriage, but I think you've already gathered that from the other posts.
