Your question is a difficult one to answer. On one hand the OM may be a complete jerk who does this all the time and will find someone new right away. On the other hand, like you wife, it might have been a one time thing that he also deeply regrets and may never repeat. I would take into account the distance in miles between him and your wife, the fact it apparantly ended right away when you found out, your W's remorse and the fact that you do not know what is going on in the other man's life as well as the very real issue that everyone has the right to know if they are living a lie.
