AGAIN" These are really good points that Lily has made. your situation has not been too dissimilar to mine, and even now (18mths post d-day) the OW is still itching to contact my H. The hardest thing to do is ignore her - but believe me it IS the best thing. when i first discovered the OW was still trying to contact my H (through friends reunited), i stupidly e-mailed her saying leave him alone, leave us alone, she was a loser who should now just accept that gracefully and try to salvage some dignity. well, boy did that get her back up and just made her try even harder. i knew my H would never go back to her, but everytime i read a communication she left my heart would lurch, my suspicions would soar and my anxiety levels were affecting my health. since ignoring her, things have calmed down a lot. recovery is beginning to happen. my problem was i felt compelled to make her understand my pain. but the truth is - the OP really doesn't care! why should they? the OW told me this herself (you and your son mean nothing to me - it's only your H i care about). please, do not go to the other womans work again. put your energy into constructive actions, it will do much more good!
