He needs to own this as a mistake he made because he could have asked for sex from you if that was the case. DO NOT LET HIM BLAME YOU FOR THE A!! #2. You have no control over what he does and thinks. You are not responsible for the A. He is responsible for his own behavior. #3. Your life feels out of control because you trusted him and he failed to honor your trust. You are different now. You are no longer a mushroom. Please try to get out that vortex of dispair of "if I do this, he will behave that way..." Please read some books on rebuilding trust. This will help to get you out of the house. #4. Hang in there. I had a melt down today "for no reason" but at least I can stand there in front of my husband and cry like a fool. At least we are communicating. I just dread that I am now feeling the wonders of menapause!! Oh joy!! Another reason to feel disorganized!! I am gonna go have a glass of wine now. And am thinking of getting my hair dyed Monday. -Kay
Abby,
This thing about "being there" to make sure his needs are attended to so he won't get lonely and feel neglected.... This is all wrong.
