Bravo to you and your wife!!!!!
Our marriage is also the closest it has ever been in 40 years.
This is what the experts mean when they say that often recovery from an affair leaves you closer and more bonded than before.
I never would have wished for so much pain and horror, but I know that I never would have had the marriage that I now have if we just went on as before. In our case, it also involved my depression, but inaddition, poor communication and poor treatment of my husband - taking him for granted.
