Posted by Jade on 8/1/2003, 1:49 pm, in reply to "Re: Thanks :)" It is a blessing but sometimes these guys say that they never want to see you again as a mind game....to make you feel bad and then they wait and let you beg for them back. Don't do it! Cut all contact with him and don't talk to him because once you talk to him he can then manipulate and try to draw you back in. Have you checked out any abuse shelters? They have counseling that would really help you. You don't have to live there to get the counseling either. You need to focus on yourself. Love yourself and get your confidence back and build your self esteem back up, understand that it wasn't your fault that he was a jerk(to put it nicely lol). And you need to learn about yourself so that you don't allow this to happen to you again. And keep posting here and read others posts. It is very helpful and you learn a lot here and what others go through and are still going through in healing from the abuse. Hugs!
