I have even trusted people and gotten hurt all over again. I think it basically depends on one's personalility. Good for you that you stood up to him. Good luck to you.

Rella is right. Dating right away is not good. I also made that mistake. My advice would be to start going out with freinds, girls or guys, just make sure there are no emotional connections with the guy freinds. Get the feel of that "single, I am my own person" frame of mind again.
