They finally redid the 3rd grade, huh? I was able to use the same books for all 3 of my boys. It was new when I bought them for my oldest. Are you using A Beka for Spelling? They pretty much do the same thing for spelling. Test on the words every 5 days. I bet you could use the old curriculum. Check the books to make sure they are different. Sometimes they just change the front cover or just change it slightly and you can still use the old books. It might take a little more work but I would look at it first. This is just from past experience. ;-)
My youngest does history and science on his own. He likes doing it on his own because to him, it is "faster". lol
Seth (the middle one) didn't want to move. He isn't thrilled with being here, but he is dealing with it. My oldest moved out on his own when we moved. He lives close to Houston. He is happy. My youngest likes the fact that we have two swimming pools! He loves swimming and likes the warmer weather. We all were tired of snow I think.
