I am sorry to hear about your dad. I hope he recovers soon. You do sound like you have been busy.
My step-dad passed away right after Thanksgiving. That was a tough time for us. Then a close friend passed away right before Christmas. The whole holiday season was up and down. We as a family had a nice holiday. With my step-dad passing our family was able to get together. That was really nice. We hadn't been together is a long time before that. I think it was about 3 or so years ago the last time it happened. My brother flew out to surprise my mom for Christmas. This year we got together for a time of fellowship and had fun reminising.
We are almost caught up with school, but still have a bit to go. Spelling isn't going well. We are going to try a different program for that. He just is not a good speller. He can read anything but to write it on paper... forget it!
