Just because it works for us, doesn't mean it will for you. If it isn't working, then maybe it is time to change. You don't want him discouraged or even hating math more because the curriculum doesn't work for him. We switched to Teaching Textbooks in 9th grade. I will stick with A Beka until then, unless there is a problem. So far, so good. LOL
