I think it's mainly their "presentation" and explanations that I don't like. Interestingly enough, I had this conversation with some other homeschool moms at a support group fellowship, and 4 of them told me that they switched arithmetic curriculum when their children hit 5th grade; they all had the same challenge! How strange is that. They went from ABeka arithmetic to various other ones: Teaching Textbooks, Saxon, etc...
I was hoping to wait until at least h.s. age to make the switch. Now I don't know...it's quite a conundrum..LOL..(that's my new favorite word lately***don't mind me, I'm in a weird mood today.) :-p
