I would like to share my experience with Journey Pet transport. I bought a puppy from Iowa and wanted her transported to Washington. James told me verbally that it would be 3 days. This was August 17th/09.they picked up the puppy Aug. 30th and took 8 days to deliver her.The pup was locked in a cage while they drove 24 hours a day all over the U.S. picking up and delivering dogs.We had to meet them at the border at 8 o'clock at night and the puppy was exhausted. By the time we got her home she was cowering, pooping in her kennel and has developed a breathing problem. She contracted Coccidia and presents with more problems. When I asked James for compensation to help with the vet bills, I was told to consult a different vet because this one was taking advantage. My pup has now had diarrhea since arriving, and we will keep testing to see what else she contracted. A reasonable person would offer help for the horrific service as well as delivering a filthy sick puppy that has been caged for an unreasonable amount of time. The whole time she was in transit they would not give me a delivery date and said they would contact me later. If you have a choice not to use this company, you will avoid a great deal of stress.I am not an unreasonable person but feel this is very wrong what they are doing.
