A cross is a mixed breed dog. Any breed crossed with another breed is a mixed breed. Now if you take that dog and breed it with crosses just like it for several generations you may have something. but the first generation is just a cross. Nothing more. Enjoy your pet. I bet it's very cute. The crosses are done for many reasons, and sometimes for no reason at all other than they can sell them for more money. Sometimes though they are done in search for creating another breed like bantam or mini style bulldog. It takes a long time to create this though. Not just one generation. I hope this doesn't hurt your feelings or make anyone mad on this board, but you asked, and I gave my honest opinion.
