I think it's Marvel's way of letting Wolvie finally know about his past(like many fans have been asking to happen), but they decided to keep the rest of us in the dark (for the meantime). I think it's rather funny. I like a character that has some mystery to them...and this keeps it an on-going thing(by revealing those secrets and mysteries to the character, but not to us...LOL).
