The committee in charge of the whole day's proceedings seem to be releasing in different stages these details of different periods of the day, so the afternoon/evening events are probably still to be announced. Also, it's not just the actual heads of state/government who may attend, but all the top-ranking diplomats/ambassadors who may not have a seat at the Abbey but as a matter of diplomacy might expect to be at least invited to one of those post-Abbey events. Along with their spouses. In a nutshell, a logistical challenge to make it all happen.
Im expecting the guests will have a large English breakfast and that will no doubt carry them over till teatime at their hotel or embassy before going to a reception and dinner at the palace. I cannot believe they are inviting world leaders to simply attend and not host an event in the palace for them. As there is nothing public planned for the evening of the 6th of may im thinking it might be a banquet in the Ballroom.
Well you can't expect foreign dignitaries to sit in the Abbey from 10AM and then not feed them afterwards. This is not 1953 when people stuffed marmite sandwiches in their coronets!
If the procession into the Abbey begins as late as 11:00 AM, then I'm assuming that the rest of the Coronation ceremony will go on till at least 1:00PM? Then everyone has to exit and return to wherever that lunch is to be, so it might be a very "late lunch" by then.
Followed by a lunch for the foreign guests perhaps?
It will be at 11am at Westminster Abbey.
