I find it interesting that six of the queen's nine children have descendants today who are reigning monarchs. The number would be seven, had not the thrones occupied by the descendants of Prince Alfred, Duke of Edinburgh, been deposed.
You would have added Germany, Greece and Romania to the descendants of Victoria, Princess Royal as well as Romania and Yugoslavia and possibly Russia (if the claim of Grand Duchess Maria is accepted as valid) to the descendants of Alfred, Duke of Edinburgh had those thrones still been in existence today.
