The THE should be left out. Technically too she's Sarah,Duchess of York or Sarah Ferguson. Not the both mixed together, she refers to herself as Sarah Ferguson (going by the way she's credited in Young Victoria, and also at a recent public speaking engagement where her name tag on the table infront of her says Sarah Ferguson.) I assume her marketing people prefer the Duchess of York moniker as there's the cache of a tenuous royal link.
