Things don't sound too dire, based on this article. She owes around $750 in taxes, which is a very small amount. I believe both her Weight Watchers position, as well as her membership of the board of Waterford Crystal, came through her friendwhip with Tony O'Reilly, and his own much more serious financial problems have probably cascaded down to the Duchess. She is also probably a victim of the economic crunch, just like everyone else.
