My favorite part of that article is the one where they writer says that The Queen is prevented by protocol from attending Lord Frederick's wedding. There is not such thing as protocol preventing her. I remember reading and seeing pictures of her attending Lady Helen's wedding at Windsor Castle in 1992 and she too was far down the line of succesion.

: This quote was laughable. This seems to be
: WAY too much talking about nothing. Why
: would they go? And as long as she is in the
: US, she is hardly a 'star'. Far from being
: compared to the Oscar winning Grace Kelly.

: I think this article is much ado about
: nothing, really (but thanks, Chav for
: providing the link).
: Freddie is very far down in the line of
: succession, and he's not royal. He
: probably didn't invite senior royals because
: he's not close to them. He and his wife will
: be living in the USA for the time being and
: they will likely soon be forgotten. If it
: weren't for his parents who are frequently
: in the public eye, most people wouldn't even
: know who he is. Although, given her new
: in-laws, Sophie Winkeleman will probably be
: considering future acting roles more
: carefully. It goes with the territory.
