I guess the issue is not whether the PoW has the right to air his views about such things and whether his criticisms are justified or not (which they may well be) but whether he should be allowed to influence the outcome of such decisions when he was not been elected by anybody to do so or have the necessary qualifications in order to be appointed to do so.
