Posted by Abdi Munaf Solaiman on July 10, 2001, 1:16 pm The problem with much of the effort as far as the establishment of Khilafat is concerned within the past one hundred years: most of these so called "khilafat" movements have always had a very narrow agenda, i.e. to promte their pir, amir, imam as some kind of kilafa. Unless and until we as an umma is truely prepared to approach this very important issue with an open attitude, i.e. with no foregone conclusions, then I think we are very far away to realizing Khalifat-ul-Islamiyya. How would you suggest we go about re-introducing and establishing the Khilafa? May Allah guide us all.
