Field work in Pakistan

Hi! I'm a student in Comparative Religion in Norway who are planning a field trip to rural Sindh in Pakistan for a couple of months. However, tensions are hot and I wonder if it is anyone out there that know this area well. I'm not sure if the security situation is good enough for a Westerner to do field work there. Espescially considering that Hindus will be the focus of my project.
