It is submitted that i am very impressed by your faith and understanding with Islam and informing you that your question is/are valid.In this conection,the teaching of the Holy Quran and the Holy Sayings of the Holy Prophet {peace be upon him} are providing a clear answer that""" when you/we left the Quran/Sunnah behind then you/we
slipped from the right path/way""""".All that was done according to non-Islamic customs of our society and we all are only and only bound to the directions of ALLAH {Quran} and the Holy SUNNAH, we are not bound to obey/practise/act on any custom/law out side from Islam.Now it is the
obligation/responsibility of our society and the administrative staff of any islamic ceremony that they should display the real spirit/soul of islam for the guidance of other all. in short,NAAT has more high values against the respect of a personality and "" sitting up ""in an islamic meeting/gathering is totally against the teaching of islam.No body on the earth{in the shape of Human} is/can be higher than the Holy Prophet [peace be upon him]and the holy Prophet [pbuh] always established himself among the common people ..except for the IMAMAT/COMMAND OF FORCES.any mislead/mistake of the knowledge and mis-understanding is openely admitted and requested for feedback and clarification please.
