I do not say that Pakistan should fight the Taliban but in the present context, suppose Musharraf refused to cooperate, wouldn't it have been a golden opportunity for india to join the USA and massacre those who support the Taliban. I believe that Pakistan's position was even more delicate than the Taliban. India was just waiting for Pakistan to be on the other side to offer her assistance to the US and the world alliance and use it as a pretext to wage war on Pakistan. Although i do not agree with all that Musharraf does, i think that he has taken a wise decision to safeguard the lives of millions of muslims in his poor country. however he should not give any military assistance to the usa which remains our enemy.
