as salaamualikum warahmatul laheh wabarakatuhu,
It takes the deepest courage for me to announce the sad news to you all that an eloquent and great Scholar/Mufti/Teacher and Writer of many many numerous Kitabs ....has departed from this mundane world to gain the tranquillity of his heart and soul and meet up with his Beloved Rasul sal allahualayhi wasalam and his creator Allah Almighty the Most Compassionate the Most Merciful.
(ina lillahi waina ilayhe rajioon)
His blessed name: Huzur Hazrat Mufti Allama Moulana Jallal Udeen Amjadi (rehmatul lah alay)
He passed away aprox. 12am of India's time
("jummah raat" i.e. Thursday night in western terms)tonight.
Undoubtedly we as the Muslim ummah will miss his works and efforts for the Deen. he was the head of Darul Uloom Arshadul Uloom, Mehraj Ganj TELEPHONE: 0091 5546 62379(Basti U.P - INDIA) (Delhi Kutub Khana (Armada) : 0091 113243187)and students studying for mufti course were studying under him. He wrote the kitabs that ranged for all ages (i myself have read-when i was a child at my madraseh kitabs"noorani talim"(5 parts which has been translated into English) at a very tender age of maybe 4-5) even today majority of the children throughout the world use his kitabs to start the moulding/learning and shining of their hearts and brains at such an important age with the teachings of Islam.
Without a doubt his work is for all ages/generations and people from students of madressah, people at Darul Ulooms to Scholars themselves for their own references and research into topics.
As well as being a brilliant writer and teacher, he himself had the privilege to be the student of another eloquent Scholar in Islam (Hazrat Arshadul Qadri Saheb...,may Allah increase the barakah in his health/life and spiritual advancement..ameen)
Hadith: "the closest rank after prophethood is that of the Ulema and Mujahideen. This is so because the Ulema propagate the message of the Prophets and the Mujahideen defend it with their swords."
Hadith: "when a person seeks one section of knowledge to educate others, Allah will bless him with the reward of seventy (70) Siddiqeen"
There are too many kitabs to list which he wrote, but to show how each one of us has had a chance to study his work throughout our life (and Muslims will continue to study throughout time till Day of Resurrection (Insha'allah)) i am taking the opportunity to list some of them here:
:Fataw-e-faizul Rasul (two volumes)
:Anwarul Hadith
:Bujrugoh keh Akideh
:Fikhi Pehelia
:Khutbateh Moharam
:Noorani Talim
:Hajj o' Jaiyarat
:Bageh Fidak aur Hadith e Kirtas
:ba'd madh'habo seh rishteh

:and many more

if you are based anywhere else in the world then please go to an established ahle sunnat wa jama'ah book centre and without a doubt they will have his books there...if not ask them to order you some.
His namaz-e-janaza will be read after salaahtul Jummah (today)(24/08/2001) at his very own Darul Uloom (arshadul uloom.India)
i humbly request that we as his students and Muslim ummah send our sincere duas and blessings in abundance for such a blessed personality we have had and whose life and works will inshallah always be remembered and studied by every Muslim....from a child to a scholar and beyond.
May Allah accept all of his works for the deen and send countless amounts of blessings and salaams upon him from all of us and may we be given a droplet from the ocean of ilm/knowledge that he possessed and may we too help with the propagation of the True Religion of Islam (Ahle Sunnah Wa Jama'ah)..AMEEN
Humble servant of Allah, His Messenger sal allahualayhi wasalam and all the Mashaiks and Scholars of Ahle Sunnat Wa Jama'ah
