didn't forget about osin. was just hoping that it would be kaleval. i'm hoping that they tie him back into things eventually. RS never mated w/ anybody before, let along a god, so I thought maybe there'd be some of double rebirth story. kaleval died rather unceremoniously. shame he didn't make a stunning return like the wizard in dragonslayer. i thought they could have probed his character a little better, and developed a rebirth story for him, too.
too bad osin is sure to bite the dust. and soon. he seems to be filling out the role of the older mentor who teaches RS all he knows then dies, sacrificing himself to save her b/c she unwittingly did something we see from heroes in training.
