Conan #0
So the Conan reset is here. From what we know, the series will take a look at Conan in his “adult” years, rather than the young man years we saw in the previous series.
So....
Issue 0 starts with some panels for REH’s typewriter (I suppose). The issue indicates that the prose comes from REH himself. Where ever it comes from, It’s quite well paced as the panels shift to Cimmeria. This Conan, it appears, is quite a bit more introspective than his previous incarnation.
Conan has come across a raiding group. He dispatches them, and thinks back to his previous adventures. The memories are beautifully captured in a full page (and a half) spread. I’m not sure if artist Giorello drew those pages. They look a bit different from the rest of the issue....almost Nord’ish. Either way, the splash is worth the issue alone, IMO.
Conan focuses a bit on Gunderman, remembering his hanging and subsequent transformation into a zombie. He then tells the minstrel traveling with the raiders to go home and sing of how Conan slew his kin.
The issues wraps up going back to REH, apparently writing this prose around Fredericksburg.

All in all, a good reset. Conan appears to be a bit older, so we can assume some time has past since the last issue. The memories of his earlier adventures serves as a nice tie in, though, so it seems there will be some continuity to build on.
He’s wearing a full set of armor, something we’re not always accustomed to seeing. Perhaps he’s a king already?
An alternative Kubert cover to issue 1 is displayed at the end. Conan looks like Tor....
