They read each other's stories and wrote letters to each other critiquing the work. So I'd say they influenced each other. Be sure to get the other two books that finish all of the Howard Conan stories! (The Bloody Sword of Conan, & The Conquering Sword of Conan) Each book is better than the last. Kev
