Inheritly, the plot was sound..but hollywood obviously cheesed out the feel and cinematography of the picture, too many spray on tans, fake boobs, and cheesy dialogue.

Ive re-read some of the darkhorse trades, (boy i wish they put the covers in there) and some of the newer Busiek stuff...awesome..if Carey Nord isnt one of the best Conan artists of all time i dont know...he's dang close and thats a lofty statement.
Anyway My ultimate prize thusfar is reading the Howard original books for the first time...what a treasure they are...I was amazed how Lovecraftian (or how Howard lovecraft is)...I am about half way first the first major compilation of tales and its the best read I've made in years.254
