
Posted by sheridan on 1/6/2006, 12:35 am having conan shown as a young boy (demonstrating exceptional courage, etc.) takes away from the notion that we're seeing conan come into his own. its one thing to say that he's cimmerian born, and can climb and hunt and all that. it's another thing to show him killing panthers and wolves etc., everytime we get a one shot of his childhood. b/c when he kills one as an adult, i feel like, "so what. he did that when he was 12." your thoughts.... sheridan

i don't recally care for the one shots of conan's childhood. to me, the mag is supposed to be a reset of conan anyway, borrowing heavily on howard's original stories. that's about as far back as i really care to see it.
