Second Lieutenant Walter Burt Vincent, Jr., USMCR, was navigator-bombardier on PBJ, Bureau Number 35037 while participating in night training flight in the vicinity of Espiritu Santo, New Hebrides, on April 22, 1944. Because of communication failure no position fix was obtained. There was no enemy action in the vicinity. Following is a roster of other crew: Co-pilot Second Lieutenant Dwight Dale Ekstam

I am interested in any information relating to an April 22, 1944 crash involving my wife's uncle, Walter Burt Vincent, Jr. The only information I have is one report stating:
