Carl, that sounds like a great book. I wasn't aware such a publication existed but I'd like to find out more about it. I have a contact at the Marine History Division in Quantico so maybe they can help with this. Can you provide me with any other information about the book? I have sent your request asking to hear from anyone who knew your dad to the editor of the squadron's quarterly newsletter. The current issue was just published last week so the next issue should come out in late April or early June.
