My Dad (Edward Johann)served with the VMB-423. I believe he was a master tech sargent. He passed away in 1975. I am the youngest of his 7 sons and one of 13.(he also had 6 girls)all from the same wife. I am looking for info on a book that traced the events of the VMB-423 during the war.(where would I go to purchase or request a copy) Also,
If anyone has any pictures with him during your service that I can share with the family. I want to say thank you to all of you for your service during the war and also for creating this web site and message board. Hope to hear back soon.
