However, I do know that I am a descendant of a James Butler born in Isle of Wight Co. VA about 1740. I do know that Jacob had a son named James. It is also possible that James could have been the son of another Jacob Butler who was son of Christopher Butler III (The Mariner) a descendant from the Butlers of Kent Island MD.
