Looking for information on my Afro-American ancestors who were born in Isle of Wight County.
1.Littleton Theodore Faulcon (b.abt.1820)son of John Faulcon and Unice(Eunice)Cartland.
2.Courtney/Coatney Cromp/Crump(b.abt.1819)daughter of Thomas Cromp/Crump & Lucy Mills.
3.Littleton Faulcon married in VA. Courtney/Coatney and they had in addition to other children, twin sons Frederick Theodore & Theodore Frederick b.abt.1827 in Isle of Wight County.
By 1865 all the above Faulcon's had migrated to Massachusetts and are listed in the 1865 MA.Census "People of Color", where John & Littleton are shown to be living in Billerica, Middlesex County, MA.
Subsequent MA., census list the entire families of John and Littleton, their wives and children.
Any information on these and other Faulcon/Falcon ancestors from Isle of Wight County, will be greatly appreciated
