Hello, I am Linda White Weimer from the Indiana White family. First I wanted to tell you that those two counties were in VA by Isle of Wight but when the boundaries changed they were put into NC. So they are now counties of NC.
I believe that our line is from Thomas, son of your John White but we are having a very hard time proving this. What information do you have and do you know if William, Thomas, Luke, Francis if male, George or John Jr. had a son or grandson named John White born around 1774 in VA. This is the missing link we are looking for to connect to our ancestors earlier than 1774. I have all the information from there to me. Please email me with any information that you may have and if it will help me maybe you can mail some copies to me and vice versa. Looking to hear from you. Linda
