I am trying to trace info on my grandmother's family. Her name was Gertrude Mathews, born 1879 in Isle of Wight. She married my grandfather John Alonza McCloud of South Norfolk in 1902. Her father was James Mathews; her mother Patsy Turner (they were married about 1854). Gertrude had a number of sisters-one married a Wilson, one (Evelyn) married a Godwin (sons Paul and John). Her family were members of Uzzell Methodist Church.
