I am trying to find the parents for my great great grandfather, Nathan G. Pitt(s) who was in Halifax, North Carolina in 1850. He was first married to Emily Weaver, then he married Cassandra Kitchen about 1850. I believe he probably descends from Captain Robert Pitt of Isle of Wight. Any help would be most appreciated.
