Francis Bearden was born in 1691 in Isle Of Wight, VA and died in 1744 in James City, VA. Francis was a judge but was hung for the alleged theft of a tobacco crop. His father was Jacob Bearden. His grandfather was Robert Bearden. I don't have any dates for them. I found one person on the internet that said Jacob came from Essex, England. I am a great-great-great-great-great granddaughter of Richard Bearden, son of John Bearden, Sr, grandson of Francis Bearden.
