If anyone has information as to a possible Brantley connection of any kind I would appreciate all. Original Edward Brantley (d.1688 Isle of Wight) and two to three generations (Phillip, then Edward, then John, spouses & some children also) are buried there, likely somewhere on the several hundred acres he once owned within a mile of Proctor's Bridge, which is apparently still farmland, or maybe in a nearby Baptist Church Cemetery. Also looking for maiden name of his wife possibly a local family as he was believed to be single when he arrived from England in 1638. Son Phillip m. Joyce Lewis, his son Edward m. ?, his son John m. ?. Please feel free to email me at clbrantly2000@aol.com or call 828-275-7266. Thanks, Kate
