My husband, John E. Carr is from Isle of Wight County. His father's name was William Holland Carr,Sr., his father was John Thomas Carr and his father was Cagie Carr.(not sure if it is spelled correctly or not.)All were from Isle of Wight County. There was three Carr brother who came from England to Virginia. One stayed in Virginia, one went West and one North, I think to North Carolina. My husband moved to North Carolina in 1965 to work. We recently moved to another town in NC. We met a lady whose ancestors were one of these Carr brothers. I can not remember his name, but can find out if you are interested.
